A busy workshop cannot afford breakdowns. We are pleased to offer repairs and routine preventative maintenance on wood, and metal working machinery. In addition, our engineers can commission newly acquired machines.
Maintenance of all machinery is an important factor to consider in a workshop. Like running a vehicle, it needs to be well looked after and it’s not until there’s a problem that we realise just how much dependence is placed on them.
When the unexpected happens there is increased stress and pressure, jobs are not completed on time, staff are paid whilst unable to work and repairs can be costly if they could have been prevented in the first place. Poorly maintained machinery also poses a health and safety risk. Our servicing is designed to suit your needs and can be annual, six monthly or quarterly. For ease, we will also contact you a month before your service is due.
SMS’ highly experienced service engineers will thoroughly check all aspects and components of each machine noting and replacing any parts and providing a report for each machine for your safety records. If a return visit is needed to repair something found to be faulty at the time of service we will arrange that too so your machine isn’t left with a pending problem for you to sort out.
